Dungeons and Raids
Floor-by-floor maps, every wing on its own, bosses in order and the boss route.
Entrances#
Every classic dungeon and raid, from Ragefire Chasm to Naxxramas and Blackwing Lair, has its entrance icon on every map style. The map menu's Caves/Dungeons/Raids group turns them on and off. A route to a dungeon takes you to its entrance, even when that's inside a cave or a capital. Blackwing Lair is reached through Upper Blackrock Spire.
Double-click a spot, a boss or a pin inside a dungeon's map and the stop goes on the dungeon's entrance out in the world, since that's where you're actually heading.
An entrance down inside a cave or building shows on that place's own map too, like the Deadmines' door at the bottom of the Defias Hideout under Moonbrook. Heading to the Deadmines from outside? The route takes you to the Hideout's way in, and the Hideout's map shows the way down from there: the spiral stairs, the mine and the ramps to the door.

Wings#
Some dungeons have more than one way in, each leading to a part of its own. Those get an icon per wing, named so you know which door is which:
- Scarlet Monastery: Graveyard, Library, Armory and Cathedral.
- Dire Maul: East, West and North (and East's back door and West's side door).
- Stratholme: Main Gate and Service Entrance (each at its own gate).
- Maraudon: Orange and Purple. The inner bosses, from Celebras to Princess Theradras, belong to both.
Click a wing's icon and its map shows just that wing: its bosses, its usual way through from its own door, and its own boss route. Inside, the map goes with the wing you walked in through.
Uldaman (its back way in) and Gnomeregan (the Train Depot) have a second door into the same dungeon. Each door has its own named icon, but either one shows the whole dungeon.
Zoomed all the way out to a continent's map, a dungeon with several wings shows one icon, which opens the whole thing.
The dungeon map#
Click an entrance icon for the dungeon's map:
- The game's own map of it, floor by floor. The + and - buttons under the logo (top left) step up and down a floor (+ past the top shows every floor). The mouse wheel still zooms.
- Its bosses, numbered in the usual kill order (optional ones are marked).
- A gold line showing the usual way through, boss by boss, with stairs icons where it goes up or down a floor.
Right-click takes you back to the map you came from.
Boss route#
The Boss Route button (map menu, or /agps bosses) makes a route through the dungeon's bosses (or the wing's) in the usual order.
- Done when the boss dies: each stop finishes when its boss goes down, not when you get there.
- Skips what's down: bosses you've already killed are left out.
- Mark it yourself: the game doesn't always tell addons who died in a dungeon, so if a kill doesn't count, right-click the boss on the dungeon's map to mark it defeated (right-click again if you got it wrong). Chat lets you know once if that's happening.
Inside a dungeon#
The game hides your position from addons inside dungeons, so instead of an arrow the map shows the dungeon itself and how your run's going:
- bosses you've killed fade out and read "Defeated";
- the stretch of the gold line to the next boss lights up;
- the panel says who's next ("Next: Sneed (2 of 6)"), with the two things you can do there underneath.
Mark where you are: since there's no arrow, double-click the dungeon's map where you are and your class icon goes there, in a ring of your class color. Double-click again as you move along, or right-click the icon to clear it. It's gone when you leave the dungeon.
Right-click a boss to mark it defeated (see Boss route).

WoW Forever's own dungeons#
WoW Forever's new dungeons and raids (Karazhan Crypts, Demon Fall Canyon, Scarlet Enclave, Storm Cliffs, The Tainted Scar, The Crystal Vale, Nightmare Grove and more) have their map and their bosses' names. Their entrances come from research and from players like you: AzerothGPS remembers where you were standing when you went in. Share them with Copy Map Data... (see Fixing the Map).
