How to play
- Each round shows a street view from somewhere in Azeroth, facing a random way. You have 30 seconds: drag to look around, and use the wheel to zoom. You can't walk.
- The map starts on the world map, as in game: click a continent to open it, then a zone (on Normal, a spot: the terrain there). Right-click, or the ↶ button, goes back out. Drag to move it and use the wheel to zoom.
- Double-click the map where you think it is (double-tap on a phone), on a zone's map or the terrain. Double-click again to move your guess. When the time runs out, whatever you placed counts; playing solo, Submit Guess ends the round sooner.
- Points: each street view is worth 100 to 200 (more out in the wilds than by a town or a landmark). A guess within 25 yards gets them all; farther off gets fewer. Another continent, or no guess, gets none.
- Levels: the map is the game's own. Normal is the terrain map, the land as it looks from above; Heroic is the world map with every zone revealed; Mythic is the world map with nothing revealed. Place names show when you zoom in close.
- Against Bots: four opponents guess too, some better than others. The scoreboard ranks you among them.
This is the game from AzerothGPS StreetView, played the same way in your browser. In WoW it also plays with your party, your raid or anyone who clicks its link: Where in the Azeroth? in game.
The street views are renders of WoW Forever, the same pictures as StreetView's picture packs, and the maps are the game's own, as AzerothGPS shows them. Your scores stay in this browser. Starting a game sends one anonymous count, nothing about you.
