What AzerothGPS and AzerothGPS StreetView keep, what they share and when, and what this website keeps (nothing).

The addons#

No internet, no data collection#

Addons can't go online, full stop. Nothing is ever sent to us or to anyone else by AzerothGPS or StreetView themselves.

Everything AzerothGPS keeps stays on your PC, in its saved variables. A few things are kept per character, under your realm and character name: your flight paths and flight times, your current route and dungeon progress. Boat and zeppelin times are kept per realm. What you share (map data, pins, routes) has positions and your pins' names only: no character or realm names.

You decide what gets shared#

Some things can leave your PC, and each one only when you do it yourself:

• Routes sent in game (AzerothGPS) carry just the stops, and nothing's used until the other player says yes. Asking a group member for their route asks them first, too.
• Pins shared in chat (Shift-click a pin) put a link in your chat box; it's sent only when you press Enter.
• Map fixes (Copy My Map Data) only leave your PC when you copy them and paste them somewhere yourself, and you pick what goes in the copy. See Sending road and wall fixes.
• Where in the Azeroth? games (StreetView): the game's link goes into your chat box and is sent when you press Enter. Players who join share their guesses and scores with the other players in that game, over a hidden chat channel the game uses on your realm and faction.

It just shows you the way#

AzerothGPS never moves your character, clicks anything for you or automates anything. Even the hearthstone button only works when you click it. It does no memory reading and nothing else against the Terms of Service, and it doesn't ship any Blizzard files: the map draws the game's own textures. More in Privacy and Fair Play.

This website#

• No cookies, no analytics, no ads, no trackers.
• No visitor logs. The pages are delivered by Amazon CloudFront with its request logging turned off. Like any website, the server sees your IP address to send you the page; this site doesn't store it.
• Nothing from other sites. Fonts, scripts, pictures and videos all come from azerothgps.com. Links to Discord and CurseForge take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
• Search happens in your browser. What you type in the search box isn't sent anywhere.
